CGBBC International Cultural Day 2013 In The News: BVI PLatinum

Fifteen Caribbean countries including the BVI joined together yesterday on the grounds of the Cane Garden Bay Baptist Church (CGBBC)to showcase their respective culture. 
It was the church’s International Cultural Day celebration, which was held under the theme ‘An Array of Flags, Food & Fun’.

Rev. Dr. Melvin A. Turnbull, Senior Pastor for the CGBBC said persons must learn to accept and embrace the diverse society that the BVI has become.

“In the Caribbean we are one people. We ought to cherish our diversity; just like we do in church. Come together and encourage the other Caribbean brothers and sisters. You live here, this is your home now; contribute in some way so that we can all build this country together and those who maybe appose to it they need to shut up and sit down and understand the world is one big village and we need to embrace each other,” Dr. Turnbull stated.
